Shaking Incubators, the CS160 Series Stackable, Refrigerated, CO2, with UV-sterilization, Optional Humidity Control
Overview
The CS160 Series Shaking Incubators are large capacity stackable shaking incubators fully equipped with refrigeration, CO2 control, UV-sterilization a choice of orbit (either standard 25 or 50mm) for a variety of flask sizes, and available (CS160H) with humidity control.
The stainless-steel housing is constructed to allow up to 3 units to be stacked for most efficient space utilization. Each unit is equipped with an eco-friendly cooling system, so the units are independent of each other and require a maximum of 1300 watts of power. A convenient door system makes the units compatible for use with other brands of incubators such as Thermo-Fisher, Infors and Kuhner.
The CO2 regulation is facilitated through a reliable IR sensor that is standard with all common CO2 incubators. Additionally, each unit is equipped with a 300 watt fluorescent light tube and UV-sterilization is a standard feature, along with cooling. The units can be operated with a temperature range from 4 to 60°C with high accuracy and precision control of parameters such as speed, temperature and CO2 regulation.
The CS160H adds an optional embedded humidity control module, using precise temperature control of the stainless steel heating plate for humidification, to avoid the disadvantages of traditional ultrasonic humidification methods to the maximum extent
The water inlet solenoid valve automatically controls, water that vaporizes on the high temperature heating plate and expands to enter the incubator’s internal circulation system. The free molecular water vapor does not easily condense in the incubator. High-temperature humidification and sterilization at the same time, avoids bacterial contamination in the water tank.
The active humidity function can control humidity up to 85% RH, micro-culture liquid volatilization can be controlled within 10% for one week.
A large 8mm thick anti-warp aluminum platform provides for high capacity for flasks of varying sizes and shapes, such as Erlenmeyer or Fernbach. A maximum load of 50 kg is possible on each platform. As an example, when used with Sticky-Mat, the platform could accommodate 60 x 250mL, or 40 x 500mL, or 15 x 2000mL/3000m\L or 4x5000mL flasks.
