Overview
MaXtir® MSH500 is a microprocessor based high temperature magnetic stirrer hotplate combination that offers the lab the ability to safely heat up to 550ºC through the use of a direct contact temperature probe (PT-100). The combination package is supplied complete with the hotplate stirrer, PT-100 temperature sensor, holder/clamp and the rod for safely securing all pieces.
MaXtir MSH500 has a solid ceramic glass plate with a surface of 20cm x 20cm and the exterior equipment is powder coated aluminum. The surface is heat, chemical, acid resistant and easy to clean. The unit is optimally insulated with fourfold layers to enhance longevity and minimize heating of the housing. Safety is further enhanced by the use of 2 internal K-type sensors:- Temperature Control Sensor for temperature Accuracy and Over Temperature Detection Sensor for user safety. There is also a Hot Indicator Lamp to indicate heated surface.
A unique feature of the equipment is the Jog-Controller and large digital display which makes this unit a premium in it class. The Jog-Controller could be user disabled for more conventional touch control.
