Our special photodiode
array optical design eliminates the need for all of the moving parts
associated with conventional diffraction grating instruments to provide a
highly energetic and reliable system with outstanding signal-to-noise
ratio. You can obtain a
full-range of wavelength scans from 190 – 1150 nm in less than 0.02 sec
so that you can have the spectral information you want in the fastest time
possible. The “see through” optical design eliminates moving parts for
increased reliability and also provides a perfect, non-step transition
from the UV to Visible wavelengths. Photometric
accuracy is assured with maximum confidence in the results.
A
shutter located between the UV source and sample minimizes any
photoreaction during the actual scan time.
Light intensity is maintained with special baffling that minimizes
stray light to <0.02% T even at 245nm so that the photometric accuracy
and results reported are the most reliable.
The 1024 channel PDA can provide a spectral bandwidth of 0.62nm
(S-2130) or 0.96 nm (S-2150) so that you can scan even the most difficult
samples and still obtain excellent spectral definition. All components of
the S-2100 Series modular design provide maximum signal-to-noise ratio and
an especially easy-to-maintain instrument.
Thermodynamic considerations are strategically located. Cooling
fans eliminate the effect of heat on the sample and electronics for
maximum stability. Accessories
and other components are easy to replace and install. |
